Society demands a high level of satisfaction for the services provided and strict compliance of environmental norms with respect to environmental conservation.

In response to these concerns, ACCIONA Infrastructure carries out its activities in line with a quality assurance system which complies with the UNE-EN ISO 9001 standard, the objective of which is the continuous improvement of all work. In conjunction with the quality system an environmental management system has been introduced in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 14001 standard, guaranteeing respect and protection of the environment in all operations.

Both systems have been endorsed for their efficiency, with the Business Registry Certificates awarded by the Spanish Association for Standardisation and Certification (AENOR). These certificates certify that the work systems of ACCIONA Infrastructures permit quality assurance in all processes and that they comply with the commitment to protect the environment, going beyond the mere compliance of requirements established by legislation. The AENOR certificates are backed by the International Certification Network IQNet, formed by the leading international certifying bodies.

The number of internal quality auditors is also significant, and has increased considerably reaching 518 in 2007, as has the percentage of production certified in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard, totalling 78%. These figures are a reflection of the company’s commitment to contine improving through the monitoring of the management systems that have been introduced.
